The Oakland Pop Festival is a one-day nonprofit event supported by Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Elmer Street Productions.
Inspired by the Monterey Pop Festival that took place in California in 1967, the primary goal of the event is to raise awareness for amazing local musicians in Pittsburgh by offering the students and residents of Oakland an opportunity to participate in and connect to the Pittsburgh music scene.
